As we step into May, it’s also an important reminder that this month is Mental Health Awareness Month — and there’s no denying the positive impact travel can have on our wellbeing. Whether it’s feeling the warmth of the sun on a beach, exploring a new culture, reconnecting with loved ones, or simply taking a break from the daily routine, travel has a powerful way of reducing stress, boosting happiness, and helping us reset mentally and emotionally. Sometimes the best therapy is a change of scenery. 💙

As many of you begin planning your upcoming vacations, there are also a few important travel updates to be aware of. As of 10 April 2026, the EES replaces the stamping of passports allowing the automatic detection of overstayers. The European Union’s is using a new Entry/Exit System (EES), a digital border control system that will modernize how travellers enter and exit many European countries. While this may add a few extra steps at airports and border crossings, the goal is to improve security and streamline travel long-term. As always, I’ll continue keeping my clients informed and prepared every step of the way.

You may have also noticed headlines about rising airline costs due to soaring jet fuel prices. While this has impacted pricing across parts of the travel industry, it’s important to remember that incredible travel opportunities and value are still very much available.
